The Browning Version is based on the 1948 play by Terence Rattigan about an
English schoolteacher who is forced into retirement by a series of life complications. Andrew Crocker-Harris,
is a professor of Greek and Latin who is at crossroads in his life. Not only is he hated by almost every
student at school and asked to retire, but his seemingly lovely wife is also found to be having an affair.
Coming to grips with his failed life, now Andrew must struggle to regain his own
